CalcLab (the "site") takes your privacy seriously and complies with applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what information the site handles and how.
1. What you type into a calculator โ never sent to a server
Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server. All calculations happen locally on your device, and the site does not collect or store any of the values you enter. Note, however, that some inputs appear in the browser address bar (URL) as soon as you type them. This is what lets a reload keep your figures and lets you share a result by sending the link alone โ it happens whether or not you press "Copy result link". The values still never leave your browser, but they are visible in the address bar. Sharing that link, or sharing your screen, shares those values too. Check the address bar before sharing if you entered anything sensitive. This site sends Referrer-Policy: strict-origin-when-cross-origin, so the values in the address are not passed on to external sites when you click a link that leaves the site.
2. Accounts and personal information
The site has no sign-up feature. We do not directly collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
3. Access logs
The hosting provider this site uses may keep standard server logs โ including IP address, access time, and browser information โ as part of normal service operation and security. This information is used only for aggregate statistics and troubleshooting.
4. Cookies and advertising
The site may display ads (for example, Google AdSense) to support its operation. Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits. If you prefer not to see personalized ads, you can opt out in Google Ads Settings.
5. Changes to this policy
If anything in this policy is added, removed, or changed, we will announce it on this page.
