1. Results are for reference only
Every result on this site is reference information, not tax, legal, medical or investment advice. Each calculator follows widely used standard formulas and published official criteria, but it cannot account for your specific circumstances — how your income is composed, which deductions apply to you, local exceptions, or the terms of an individual contract.
These results carry no legal force and create no contractual obligation. They must not be used as the settled basis for a tax filing, a contract, an insurance claim or a medical decision, and they must not be submitted as evidence in a dispute. An official calculation by the relevant authority may differ from ours, and where it does, the authority is right.
Calculators that rest on a rate, a statute or an established formula are built from published primary sources — statutes, official notices, agency publications, recognised formulas — and each one states, at the foot of its page, which source was checked and on what date. (Pages with nothing to cite — random pickers, for-fun tools — carry no such note, because there is no source behind a dice roll.) That said, we read those sources and turned them into code, and our reading may differ from how the authority applies them.
Where money or the law is involved, confirm the final figures with the relevant authority or a professional. We accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of these results.
2. About the price and exchange rate data
- These are not official benchmarks. The gold, silver and platinum figures shown here are market reference prices. We do not display licensed benchmark fixings.
- Exchange rates update once a day. The upstream data refreshes on roughly a 24-hour cycle. The timestamp on screen is when this site fetched the value, which is not the same as when the underlying rate was set.
- ECB figures shown here are cross-rates. The European Central Bank publishes reference rates against the euro only. Pairs such as USD/KRW are calculated from those euro rates and are not published by the ECB.
- Dealers and banks will quote something different. Real transactions carry each institution's spread, fees and taxes. Check the actual quote before you trade.
- Outages, policy changes or shutdowns at a data provider may leave a figure stale or missing. When that happens we show the last value we received together with its timestamp.

4. What you type never leaves your browser
All calculations run inside your browser. Amounts, dates of birth and anything else you enter are never sent to or stored on a server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Copyright
The calculator implementations, explanatory writing and page design belong to the operator. Please cite and link when quoting. Please do not republish the calculators wholesale.
Rights in the external material cited here — statutes, official notices, statistics and prices — remain with the issuing bodies.
6. Changes and interruption
This site is run by an individual. Calculators may be added, changed or removed, and the service may be interrupted, without notice. Keep your own record of anything important.
7. Reporting errors
If a calculation is wrong or a source has been updated, please tell us. We will fix it and note when the change was made.
